Frequently Asked Questions

When should I install my mouldings in the rendering schedule?

We recommend installing mouldings after the base coat but before the texture coat. This timing offers two key benefits:

  1. Cleaner finish – The texture coat will cover the SikaFlex (or other sealant/caulking) used to secure and seal the mouldings, giving a seamless look.
  2. Protection of your finish – Installing before the texture coat means the texture won’t be damaged by the installation process, ensuring your final surface stays smooth and consistent.
